Through discussion of your requirements we can produce a summary (scope) of the work to be undertaken. 

You may wish to use HM Revenue and Customs’ Check Employment Status For Tax (CEST) tool to confirm our self-employment. 

The key points to be aware of are:

• Ciara decides her working hours based on agreed deadlines.
• Ciara chooses her working location.
• Ciara needs to pay for the equipment, subscriptions, applications used to complete your work before payment is received.
• Depending on the type of work to be completed, payment is EITHER per hour or a project fee (e.g. transcription).
• If work was not completed satisfactorily, Ciara would correct this, unpaid.

We have previously provided our UTR number prior to engaging in work. This is available on request. 

Prior to working together some paperwork needs to be completed by both sides, trying to keep this stage as simple as possible. This can include your NDA, acceptance of our data processing policy and booking (scope) agreement. 

Provision and set up of logins, transference of audio files necessary to conduct the work required.
