Business Administration

Why?

Is your booking system non-existent?

Do your customers struggle to make contact?

Do you have a backlog of letters and reports to produce?

Can you locate files easily?

Are routine tasks being completed in a timely way?

Ciara Ferrier Ltd welcomes enquiries for business administration support from clinical and non-clinical sectors requiring support to maintain or develop their operational processes. Our transferable skills are secretarial in nature - letter and report typing or generating, transcription, filing, emails and diaries, customer enquiries, tracking tasks and following up - so there is a certain overlap between our business administration services and our medical secretary / PA services or transcription services. The role of our client may be different but we can support them to a similar standard.

Perhaps you are a committee requiring support with correspondence and meeting services, including preparation of agenda and minutes. Maybe you are a buildings surveyor who prefers to dictate report, a property agent overwhelmed with maintaining your database of property details and lists of upcoming re-certifications or possibly you are reading this as a clinician who would like some support but not a full PA. If you are in need of secretarial or administrative support, there is a good chance we can provide it.

We work within the Microsoft 365 suite of products, across both PC and Mac and can help with customising and automating a virtual workspace for you, establishing workflows and processes that make your business run more smoothly.

Arguably the greatest benefit of engaging administration support is your improved concentration. Outstanding non-profit-making tasks can feel mundane yet their importance to your business means they are a huge distraction for you. Clear headspace and reclaim your concentration knowing that your delegated business administration tasks are safely in hand.

Ciara began her administrative career in housing, building on her previous extensive customer service in a pressured environment where it wasn't really about the houses, it was about the people who offered them as or called them homes. This experience was formative of Ciara's people-first perspective.

When her children were young, Ciara completed the Pitman Medical Secretary Diploma, comprised of modules of transferable secretarial skills and modules applying these in a medical setting. She has volunteered as branch secretary for a charitable organisation. Non-medical work dating back to 2018 has included people from the property, building surveying, legal, journalism and human resources sectors.
